About
InsideTracker Membership is the analysis layer of the InsideTracker stack: a platform subscription that ingests blood, DNA, and wearable data, then turns it into personalized recommendations and a tracked Action Plan. It is not a test kit. The Membership analyzes what you upload, whether that is an InsideTracker blood panel, a recent lab report from your own physician, a 23andMe or AncestryDNA export, or wearable data from Apple Health, Oura, Fitbit, or Garmin. It is the practical path for international users and for anyone who already has usable lab data.
There is no clinician-written summary on the Membership. Recommendations are generated algorithmically by InsideTracker's analysis stack (SegterraX) and surfaced through the Terra LLM-based assistant for natural-language Q&A on results. The InsideTracker science team reviews the recommendation engine, but no doctor reads each user's panel. For clinical interpretation, share the report with your own physician.
What to Know
Signature approach
The Membership's job is interpretation, not measurement. Whatever blood data lands in the platform — uploaded PDF, manual entry, or InsideTracker draw — gets scored against personalized optimal zones rather than the standard clinical normal ranges your doctor's lab uses.
- Up to 10 healthspan category scores (0–100) summarize the health of major body systems when the underlying biomarkers are present.
- Recommendations are ranked by predicted impact for your specific profile — food, supplement, exercise, and lifestyle moves, ordered by how much they're likely to shift your numbers.
- The Terra assistant is an LLM-based layer that answers natural-language questions about results.
- Trends, not snapshots — every upload writes against your prior baseline so the dashboard surfaces movement over time rather than one-off readings.
There is no clinician review layer. Every recommendation comes from the engine and the science team behind it; clinical decisions go to your own physician.
What sets it apart
- Bring-your-own-data flexibility. Most testing memberships lock you to their lab. This one accepts uploads from any physician, any third-party provider, plus DNA from 23andMe and Ancestry.com — the practical answer for international customers and anyone with a recent physician panel.
- Wider input mix than blood-only competitors. Blood plus DNA (38 wellness traits when the DNA Kit is added) plus wearable data from Apple Health, Oura, Fitbit, and Garmin plus biological-age analysis (InnerAge) on the same dashboard.
- Personalized optimal zones, not clinical normal ranges. Markers are scored against zones tuned to your profile rather than the population-wide cutoffs a standard lab report uses — the interpretation layer most DTC blood reports skip.
Before You Order
- Platform first. Membership gives you analysis and recommendations; it needs an InsideTracker test, prior labs, DNA upload, or wearable data to work.
- No clinician review. Recommendations are algorithmic. Bring the report to your own clinician if you want medical interpretation.
- Auto-renewal. The default subscription renews annually with an email reminder before charge; a one-time non-renewing version is also available.
- DNA and biomarker limits. DNA upload supports 23andMe and Ancestry.com files in the US, and uploaded labs are analyzed only for InsideTracker-supported biomarkers.
- Eligibility. Adults only; not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or while trying to conceive.

What's included
What’s not included
No blood draw, no lab kit, no biomarker testing — those live on the Ultimate Blood Test, InnerAge 2.0, or DNA Kit SKUs (or you can upload third-party labs). No clinician review or written medical interpretation. No prescriptions, diagnoses, or treatment plans. Biomarker analysis is limited to InsideTracker's supported list — markers outside that list are not analyzed and do not appear on the dashboard. DNA upload supports only 23andMe and Ancestry.com files (US only). Not available to anyone under 18, and not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or while planning conception.

In practiceReal-world pricing notes, add-ons, and coverage limits.
The $149/yr Membership is the platform fee; it does not include a blood test. The cheapest path is Membership plus labs you already have from a physician or third-party provider. Most US customers without recent labs enter through the $489 Membership + Ultimate Blood Test bundle. InnerAge, the DNA Kit, and mobile blood draw are separate add-ons. Mobile draw adds $119 in NY, NJ, RI, AZ, and HI. HSA/FSA eligibility is available under many plans, Affirm monthly installments appear at checkout, and the default subscription auto-renews at $149/yr unless cancelled.
How it works
- 1
Join
Subscribe for $149/yr and access the platform immediately. You can use it with prior blood results from any provider, an InsideTracker blood plan you bundle in, or by uploading 23andMe or Ancestry.com DNA data.
- 2
Upload your data
Upload blood result PDFs or JPEGs (analysis returns in 3–5 business days), or enter values manually for instant analysis. Add DNA exports and connect a wearable from Apple Health, Oura, Fitbit, or Garmin to layer in sleep and activity data.
- 3
Review your dashboard
See where each marker falls vs. your personalized optimal zone, get up to 10 healthspan category scores from 0–100, and read recommendations ranked by predicted impact for your specific biomarker profile.
- 4
Build an Action Plan
Pick the food, supplement, exercise, and lifestyle recommendations that fit your goals and lifestyle. Use the Terra assistant to ask natural-language questions about your results.
- 5
Track and retest
Retest every 3–6 months with a new InsideTracker plan or by uploading fresh labs from your physician — the platform tracks trends across uploads (up to 30 per year) so you see movement, not just snapshots.
Frequently asked questions
How does the membership work?
It's an annual platform subscription that auto-renews after 12 months for $149/mo You'll get an email reminder two weeks before renewal. A one-time, non-auto-renewing version is also available at the same $149 price.
Do I need to purchase an InsideTracker blood test to use the Membership?
No. You can upload blood results from your own physician or any third-party lab provider, plus DNA exports from 23andMe or Ancestry.com. The Membership analyzes whatever supported biomarkers you upload — outside the US and Canada, this is the only way to use InsideTracker.
How many blood result sets can I upload per year?
Up to 30 sets. PDF and JPEG uploads return analysis in 3–5 business days; manual entry is analyzed instantly.
Is there a clinician review of my results?
No. Recommendations are algorithmic, generated by InsideTracker's analysis stack and surfaced through the Terra assistant. The science team reviews the engine, but no doctor reads each panel — for clinical interpretation, share the report with your own physician.
Is InsideTracker HSA/FSA eligible?
Yes, under most plans — verify with your plan administrator. Itemized receipts are available for reimbursement filing.
Is the platform HIPAA compliant?
Yes. InsideTracker is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 Type II certified. Blood, DNA, and profile data are encrypted, obfuscated, and de-identified.
Do plans expire?
Plans purchased through InsideTracker are valid for 2 years from the purchase date and are transferable to another person.
