About

Hannah Went is TruDiagnostic's co-founder and Director of Clinical Testing, with a biology degree from the University of Kentucky and early research experience in cell signaling and cell biology. Before TruDiagnostic, she worked as Director of Research and Content at the International Peptide Society, then partnered with Ryan Smith to build a methylation-testing company in 2020. Her independent Everything Epigenetics platform extends that same work through interviews and education for clinicians, researchers, and longevity-focused consumers.

What to Know

Signature approach

Went's work is translation and provider strategy: taking methylation clocks, clinical-trial findings, and biomarker research and making them usable for functional-medicine clinicians and informed consumers. Inside TruDiagnostic that shows up as clinical testing education; outside the company it shows up in Everything Epigenetics, where she interviews researchers and clinicians about DNA methylation science.

What sets them apart

  • Science-translation founder. Went came into TruDiagnostic from biology, peptide education, and content strategy, which shaped the company's clinician-facing education posture.
  • Public education channel. Everything Epigenetics gives her a direct window into the questions clinicians and consumers ask about biological-age testing.
  • Early methylation bet. She co-founded the company in 2020, before consumer epigenetic testing had become a familiar longevity category.
