Florence Comite, MD
Founder, CEO & Medical Director · Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Healthy Longevity
Yale-trained endocrinologist applying N-of-1 precision medicine to hormones, metabolism, and healthy aging
About
Florence Comite, MD is a Yale-trained endocrinologist who founded the Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Healthy Longevity in 2005 after a 25-year academic career. She earned her MD at Yale School of Medicine in 1976 with awards for original research, completed Internal Medicine residency at Yale, and trained in Reproductive Endocrinology at the NIH National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. From 1985 she served on the Yale faculty across Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Andrology, founding and directing Women's Health at Yale in 1988. Her concierge practice operates in New York, Palo Alto, and Miami Beach, applying an N-of-1™ longitudinal-biomarker model: testing thousands of genetic, metabolic, epigenetic, and hormonal markers and tuning lifestyle, supplement, and medical interventions accordingly.

What to Know
Signature approach
Comite's N-of-1™ framework treats each patient as their own clinical study. She reads genetic, metabolic, epigenetic, hormonal, and wearable signals against that person's longitudinal trend, then adjusts nutrition, supplements, exercise, hormones, and medical interventions over years rather than one visit.
What sets them apart
- 25 years on the Yale faculty. She joined Yale School of Medicine in 1985, founded Women's Health at Yale, and held appointments across Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Andrology.
- NIH-trained reproductive endocrinologist. Her hormone, andrology, and menopause background gives Comite's longevity model a clear endocrine center.
- Long public education arc. Keep It Up (2013) and Invincible (2026) show more than a decade of public-facing work around precision medicine and healthy aging.
Before You Book
- Founder access: She is founder, CEO, and medical director; ask how often visits involve Dr. Comite directly versus the PA-C team.
- Program fit: Best for patients ready for longitudinal precision-medicine follow-up, not a simple one-off lab review.
- Travel: Comite lists New York City, the Bay Area, and Miami Beach centers; confirm which location will handle ongoing care.
