About

PLC New York is the network's Manhattan suite inside One World Trade Center. It delivers the same full-day preventive exam as the Princeton headquarters, but with a distinctly NYC team shape: cardiologist Daniel Karlsberg, MD, FACC, FSCCT, internist Tiago Miguel, MD, exercise physiology manager Harry Pino, PhD, two registered dietitians, and an in-house CT technologist. It is suited to patients who want PLC's imaging-heavy model without leaving Lower Manhattan.

Editorial summary

Patients describe the One World Trade Center exam as thorough, personal, and unusually clear in its same-day interpretation. The clinical team earns praise across front desk, vitals, dietitians, CT, cardiology, and exercise physiology, with Dr. Karlsberg and Harry Pino, PhD often named for depth of explanation. Cost comes up, but the positive feedback frames the data and follow-up direction as worth the spend.

What to Know

Signature approach

The New York exam day sequences imaging, labs, physician consults, nutrition, and exercise physiology in one scheduled visit. Daniel Karlsberg, MD anchors the cardiac CT and calcium-score work, Tiago Miguel, MD carries the internal-medicine review, and Harry Pino, PhD leads the exercise-physiology layer, so cardiovascular and performance questions get strong on-site coverage.

What sets them apart

  • Tower-based executive-health setting. One World Trade Center gives PLC its highest-profile urban address and an easy hub for Manhattan and commuter patients.
  • Cardiology depth on-site. Daniel Karlsberg, MD, FACC, FSCCT brings fellowship-level cardiac CT credentials to the exam's imaging core.
  • Exercise physiology leadership. Harry Pino, PhD manages exercise physiology from this location, adding PhD-level depth to cardiopulmonary stress and performance interpretation.

Before You Book

  • Building access. One World Trade Center is a secured tower, so plan extra time before a morning exam.
  • Transit. WTC Cortlandt, Fulton Center, and the WTC PATH terminal are the easiest arrival anchors.
  • Clinical emphasis. This location is built for cardiac imaging, cardiology interpretation, and exercise physiology as central parts of the visit.

Pricing

In practiceAdd-ons, payment details, and coverage limits.

PLC uses a custom-quote model rather than public menu pricing. A Patient Care Coordinator prices the PLC Exam around selected add-ons, which may include Full Body CT, Cardiac CTA, virtual colonoscopy, MRI, hereditary cancer panels, or whole-exome sequencing. Expect a premium self-pay experience: PLC is out of network with commercial insurance and does not accept Medicare. Some components may qualify for out-of-network reimbursement, many services may be HSA/FSA eligible, and corporate, spouse, family, or group rates are available by request.

Insurance: Self Pay · HSA/FSA: Eligible

PLC says many services may be HSA/FSA eligible. Confirm eligibility with your plan administrator before booking, especially if the quote includes imaging, genetic testing, or follow-up programs.
