About
The Metabolic Panel is an add-on advanced panel from Lifeforce that layers four deeper insulin-and-metabolic markers on top of the membership's core 50+ biomarker diagnostic: Insulin, Glycomark (1,5-AG), Uric Acid, and Adiponectin. The base Lifeforce draw already covers glucose, HbA1c, triglycerides, and the standard lipid and liver panel; this panel is for members who want a more direct read on insulin resistance, postprandial glucose variability, and metabolic syndrome risk; the precursors that typically show up 5–7 years before a pre-diabetes diagnosis. It's pulled from the same at-home draw and interpreted by a board-certified clinician in the member's 45-minute telehealth consult.
Panel results fold into the member dashboard and Lifescore, reviewed by a board-certified Lifeforce clinician in the 45-minute telehealth consult.
What to Know
Signature approach
The draw itself doesn't change; one at-home phlebotomist visit pulls the four advanced markers alongside the base 50+. What changes is the lens. The clinician reads Insulin and Adiponectin for insulin sensitivity before fasting glucose drifts, Glycomark for postprandial spikes a standard HbA1c can miss, and Uric Acid as a metabolic-syndrome signal. Results feed the Lifescore dashboard and anchor the 45-minute telehealth consult; where protocol moves (supplements, GLP-1 or metformin, lifestyle levers) get tuned to what the markers say.
What sets it apart
- Early-warning metabolic picture. The base membership covers glucose and HbA1c; this panel adds the markers that move first; Insulin and Adiponectin flag insulin resistance years before glucose climbs.
- Catches the postprandial gap. Glycomark (1,5-AG) captures post-meal glucose spikes across the prior 1–2 weeks that fasting glucose and HbA1c can miss; especially useful for members on weight-loss and GLP-1 protocols.
- Same draw, same dashboard. No separate appointment or vendor; the four markers are added to the at-home draw Lifeforce already runs and folded into the Lifescore trendline the member is already tracking.
Before You Order
- Membership pathway. This is an add-on, not a standalone test.
- Price is member-gated. Confirm cost in checkout or during the consult.
- Best use case. Most useful when the base panel shows early glucose, weight, or metabolic-risk drift and you want a deeper insulin-sensitivity read.

Metabolic Condition (advanced add-on)
4 markersWhat’s not included
Base metabolic markers; Glucose, HbA1c, Total Cholesterol, HDL, Triglycerides, ALT, AST; are part of the Lifeforce membership 50+ biomarker diagnostic, not this add-on. This panel layers Insulin, Glycomark, Uric Acid, and Adiponectin on top for a deeper read on insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome risk.
Pricing
In practiceReal-world pricing notes, add-ons, and coverage limits.
Add-on panel layered on Lifeforce membership; price is not publicly rendered on the product page. The checkout flow surfaces panel pricing only to authenticated members. Base membership runs $199/mo first month then $149/mo (or $1,449/yr on the annual plan); the Metabolic Panel is an extra charge on top of that. Self-pay; no insurance. HSA/FSA eligible as part of the Lifeforce program.
How it works
- 1
Measure your baseline
A licensed phlebotomist is dispatched to your home for a single at-home blood draw measuring the 50+ core biomarkers plus any add-on advanced panels you've selected; the Metabolic Panel's four markers are pulled from the same visit. You also complete an onboarding questionnaire covering health history, lifestyle, and goals.
- 2
Interpret your results
Results integrate into the member dashboard alongside your base biomarker set and contribute to your Lifescore; the proprietary 1–100 health index. A Lifeforce clinician analyzes the data and identifies top priorities ahead of your consult.
- 3
Consult with your clinician
In a 45-minute telehealth consult, a board-certified Lifeforce clinician walks you through the metabolic findings in context; what insulin resistance, postprandial glucose variability, or uric acid elevation mean for your risk; and builds a personalized plan combining supplements, pharmaceuticals, and lifestyle strategies.
- 4
Retest every three months
Every 90 days: another at-home blood draw and telehealth consult to track how the metabolic markers are moving and refine the protocol.
