About
Defy Primary Care is a separate telehealth product from Defy Medical for common acute issues, refills, and selected chronic-disease follow-up. It uses its own booking subdomain, costs $39 per visit, and routes non-controlled prescriptions to the patient's local pharmacy when clinically appropriate. It covers issues such as sinus infection, UTI, allergies, GERD, rash, migraines, acne, sports injuries, and follow-up for hypertension, diabetes, or elevated cholesterol when records and labs support the visit. HRT and controlled substances stay outside this channel.
What to Know
Signature approach
The visit starts with a short web intake, symptom checklist, medical-history form, preferred appointment window, and optional photo, video, or audio uploads. The provider then completes a video visit, with phone fallback available. If medication is appropriate, the prescription is sent to the patient's local pharmacy. Chronic follow-up for hypertension, diabetes, or cholesterol may require outside labs.
What sets them apart
- Clear flat price. $39/visit is simple compared with the quote-based hormone and longevity side of Defy. - Useful sidecar for existing patients. Someone already using Defy for hormones can handle a sinus infection, UTI, refill, rash, or similar primary-care need without switching systems. - Local pharmacy routing. Primary Care prescriptions go to the pharmacy the patient chooses, instead of Defy's compounding-pharmacy workflow. - Narrow scope by design. The product is acute primary care and follow-up, not a back door into HRT or controlled substances.
Before You Book
- Use it for the listed conditions. Acute issues, refills, and selected chronic follow-up are the fit; hormone therapy uses Defy's main program. - No controlled substances or HRT. This channel does not prescribe testosterone, hormone therapy, narcotics, or other controlled medications. - Check coverage. Idaho and Mississippi are excluded from the Primary Care state list. - Budget for medication and labs. The $39 fee does not include pharmacy costs or lab work for chronic-condition follow-up.
How it works
- 1
Short signup form
Complete the intake on primarycare.defymedical.com — name, contact, address, state, preferred appointment window (ASAP, morning, afternoon, or evening), and existing-patient status. Takes about five minutes.
- 2
Symptoms and history
Select symptoms from the treatable-conditions checklist and complete a medical-history questionnaire. Optionally upload up to three files (photos, video, or audio) to help the provider assess.
- 3
Telehealth visit
Video chat with a Defy Medical provider — telephone fallback available — who reviews symptoms and history and builds a treatment plan.
- 4
Prescription to local pharmacy
When clinically appropriate, the provider calls in a non-controlled prescription to the patient's local pharmacy of choice. The visit fee covers the prescription send; medication is paid for separately at the pharmacy.

Visit fee: $39 per appointment, paid at time of service. The fee includes the telehealth visit and prescription routing to a local pharmacy when appropriate. Separate costs: Patients pay the pharmacy for medication and pay separately for any lab work needed for hypertension, diabetes, or cholesterol follow-up. Boundary: This is Defy's only public flat-price visit. Hormone, peptide, GLP-1, and sexual-health care use the main Defy program and separate pricing.

Medication and prescribing detailsFine-print prescribing, pharmacy, and state-professional-corporation details.
No controlled substances are prescribed through Primary Care. Refills are limited to non-controlled medications and require pharmacy records showing a valid prescription within the past 12 months. HRT, testosterone, and other hormone therapies are explicitly not prescribed through this channel — those run through Defy's separate hormone-optimization program.
