About
Yoshiaki Furuyama is the founder and CEO behind Tokyo Relife Clinic's Ginza build. He came through clinic operations at Jiyugaoka Clinic Group, where he now serves as COO, and helped move that aesthetic-medicine foundation toward regenerative medicine, longevity care, and international patient programs. In 2024 he established General Incorporated Association Tokyo Re-Life, then opened the Ginza clinic with a same-building cell lab, clinical floor, and VIP suite. He also founded an endowed Cellular Senescence Control chair at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Science, linking the clinic's regenerative focus to academic aging-biology research.
What to Know
Signature approach
Furuyama's work is infrastructure and translation: build the clinical setting, connect it to the Jiyugaoka Clinic Group operating base, and fund research that can inform regenerative protocols over time. The Toraya Ginza setup reflects that approach, putting cell processing, clinical delivery, and private guest care into one vertical clinic while medical direction runs through Masaki Nakao, PhD and the physician team.
What sets them apart
- Research funding tied to aging biology. Furuyama founded the University of Tokyo endowed chair in Cellular Senescence Control, focused on exosome quality, senescent cells, aging biomarkers, and senolytics.
- Group operations background. As COO of Jiyugaoka Clinic Group, he brings three decades of aesthetic-medicine infrastructure and international-patient experience into Tokyo Relife.
- Purpose-built Ginza clinic. The three-floor build keeps laboratory, clinical, and VIP functions together instead of layering regenerative care into a conventional outpatient office.
