About

Guido Axmann, MD is a co-founding physician at Axmann & Gartenbach, where he focuses on prevention, longevity, and performance medicine inside a deliberately small private health partnership. His training spans UKE Hamburg, AKH Vienna, and Charité Berlin, with his medical degree listed through Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Since April 2019, he has served on the Scientific Advisory Board of GSAAM, the German Society for Prevention and Anti-Aging Medicine. He also co-initiated Longevity Week Berlin in 2024 and brings an athletic-performance lens from his triathlon background.

What to Know

Signature approach

Axmann works the prevention, longevity, and performance side of the partnership, translating diagnostics and biomarker profiling into long-range health plans. The model favors continuity over one-off interventions: periodic measurement, physician interpretation, and practical adjustment over time. His triathlon background gives the performance lens a lived anchor rather than only a clinical one.

What sets them apart

  • GSAAM advisory role. He has served on the Scientific Advisory Board of the German Society for Prevention and Anti-Aging Medicine since April 2019.
  • Longevity Week Berlin initiator. He co-initiated the inaugural event with healthtech investor Joachim Rautter and Emil Kendziorra, MD, helping position Berlin as a longevity hub.
  • Performance and healthtech bridge. His work spans physician care, selected AI-healthtech advisory roles, and his own triathlon background.

Before You Book

  • Care focus. Choose Axmann for prevention, longevity, performance, and biomarker-guided planning within a two-physician partnership.
  • Team model. Expect the relationship to include Andrea Gartenbach, MD where internal medicine, palliative-care depth, or broader continuity matters.
  • Access. Intake starts with the waitlist application, and the roster is deliberately limited.
  • Visit format. Plan for Europe-based, in-person care unless the practice confirms remote follow-up during intake.
