About
Denise Teo, BNutrDiet is Chi Longevity's Senior Dietitian, with more than a decade of medical nutrition therapy behind her. She trained at Flinders University on a Singapore MOHH scholarship, then worked as a Senior Clinical Dietitian at National University Hospital, counselling patients through chronic disease, eating-disorder recovery, malnutrition, and community nutrition. Her Chi work moves that clinical foundation upstream: nutrition plans tied to metabolic markers, cognitive health, weight management, athletic performance, cultural food patterns, and sustainable behaviour change.
What to Know
Signature approach
Teo starts with eating patterns, goals, health markers, and practical constraints, then builds a plan around whole, nutrient-dense foods that fit the client's culture and lifestyle. She uses tools such as continuous glucose monitoring where useful, leans on evidence-backed patterns like Mediterranean, MIND, and DASH, and treats supplementation as needs-based rather than automatic.
What sets them apart
- Acute-care dietetics foundation. NUH experience in chronic disease, refeeding protocols, malnutrition recovery, and patient counselling gives her more clinical depth than a general wellness nutritionist.
- Cognitive-nutrition voice. Quoted in NutraIngredients on MIND, DASH, omega-3s, curcumin, and nootropic claims for cognitive longevity.
- Practical weight-management stance. Treats GLP-1-style medications as tools that still need nutrition, muscle, and habits around them.
Before You Book
- Programme-based access. Nutrition work sits inside Chi's programme model rather than a standalone dietitian visit.
- If nutrition is your main priority, ask about contact time. Confirm how much 1:1 dietitian work is included in your selected programme.
- Virtual fit. Chi's virtual pathways can include nutrition work for international clients, but testing and physician review still shape the plan.
