About

Afraz Adam, MBBS, FRNZCUC, is the medical advisor for Drips and the clinician behind much of its DNA, epigenetic, and functional-testing framework. He trained in medicine in 2004, became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care in 2014, and has worked across emergency rooms, urgent-care clinics, and hospital settings in Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand. His longevity work grew through The Edison Clinic, where he worked with Jen Ng, RN, before the two carried that partnership into Drips. He also runs Doctor360, a men's health and functional-medicine clinic in Auckland, and serves as Chief Medical Officer at CannaPlus+.

What to Know

Signature approach

Adam's Drips role centers on medical interpretation and protocol design. He brings together DNA and genome testing, gut, metabolic, cardiovascular, neurocognitive, immune, toxin, and hormone data, then uses Longevity Club consults to translate those findings into a practical plan. His urgent-care background gives the work a safety-oriented frame: identify what needs medical attention, prioritize what is actionable, and adjust as repeat testing comes in.

What sets them apart

  • Urgent-care foundation. Adam brings emergency and urgent-care experience into a preventive-health setting, which is useful when testing uncovers risk signals that need clinical judgment.
  • Long-running partnership with Jen Ng. Their work together started at The Edison Clinic and now anchors the way Drips connects medical oversight with nursing delivery.
  • Broader precision-medicine context. His Doctor360 and CannaPlus+ roles add experience in men's health, genetics, functional medicine, and medicinal cannabis.
  • Professional-governance background. He previously served as Director of Professional Development at RNZCUC, where source material credits him with building the role and launching projects for the college.

Before You Book

  • Know where the consult happens. Adam's patient-facing Drips work is tied to Longevity Club quarterly doctor consults; ad hoc Drips consults outside that membership are not listed publicly.
  • Use the right practice for the need. Men's health and Doctor360 care sit outside the Drips profile, while medicinal-cannabis care runs through CannaPlus+.
  • Plan for Auckland membership rules. Longevity Club is Auckland-only and structured as a 12-month program; Queenstown, Wellington, and Christchurch coverage applies to selected one-off services.
