The panel is broad for male hormone screening, but it is not a full longevity workup. Thyroid coverage is TSH only; it does not include Free T3, Free T4, reverse T3, or thyroid antibodies. It also leaves out HbA1c, fasting insulin, ApoB, Lp(a), hs-CRP, homocysteine, ferritin, DHT, prolactin, progesterone, pregnenolone, cortisol, and nutrient markers such as Vitamin D or B12. Clinician interpretation is separate.
Reference ranges methodology
Results return on LabCorp's standard report with LabCorp reference ranges and out-of-range flags. Sensitive estradiol uses LC/MS-MS, which is better suited to low-range male estradiol than a conventional immunoassay. Defy's optimization-style interpretation happens only if the patient books a paid Care Team consult.
